This is what you will do as a functional application manager

EAU is a scientific organization for urologists and has developed an application that regulates conference registration and organization, membership administration and examination. As a functional application manager at the EAU, you are responsible for this self-built application. You will become part of the development team, which consists of 3 colleagues, and you will also work closely with key users. Your duties and responsibilities are:

• Retrieving wishes and needs from the business
• Guiding users and drafting manuals
• Overcoming and answering questions which you then prioritize and assign to the right people
• Discussing requests with users and translating them into user stories so that they can be developed
• Monitoring and mapping problems and proposing solutions
• Testing and accepting functionalities
• Alignment between IT and users

• A good salary up to € 4.000 gross per month based on 40 hours

You recognize yourself in this

• A bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of work experience as a functional application manager
• Experience with testing
• By nature you have a strong helicopter view and you know how to set the right priorities, even when there is chaos you know how to find your wayGood command of the Dutch and English language
• You are self-starting, eager to learn and like to take ownership of things
• Last but not least: you are communicative and solution-oriented towards your stakeholders and colleagues

The European Association of Urology (EAU) is the European authority for urological care. With more than 18,000 medical professionals, they strive for the highest level of urological care in Europe and beyond. That is the mission that lives within the EAU! The EAU does this by stimulating scientific research, educating young and experienced urologists and developing guidelines for the treatment of urological disorders. To this end, the EAU organizes several conferences and meetings throughout Europe. To manage these conferences, meetings and information facilities, the EAU has developed its own Association and Event Management System, called Oxygen.
